 Digzy Dogz & Grill was officially established in 2015 by owners, husband and wife, Jason and Jenny Kazen, residents of Hudson Lake, Indiana. Though the mobile restaurant started in 2015, the idea behind Digzy Dogz started years before, in 2010 with an idea to sell hot dogs at a small stand to the lake-goers of Hudson Lake. After being a truck driver for 20 years, Jason had a back surgery that left his doctor telling him he needed to find a new profession. Both having a love of cooking, Jason and Jenny continued to discuss their hot dog stand idea, and years later Digzy Dogz was born! Digzy Dogz began as a mobile trailer to take to festivals and farmer’s markets and later became a permanent drive up restaurant location in Hudson Lake across from the South Shore line; though they do also have a food truck in use at their other location. With a walk up and order window, patrons can easily grab their food to go or sit down and enjoy at the umbrella protected picnic tables. More than the small hot dog stand the Kazens originally envisioned, Digzy Dogz has grown to be a seasonal (Open April to November) hot spot and is loved by the whole community! So Bring It On Down!
